hiphopyouthftpa: Hip Hop Youth Center for the Performing Arts is a community program in Columbus Ohio dedicated to providing a creative outlet for at risk and inner city youth.. These children come from various ethnic backgrounds and are genuinely interested in the arts. But a majority of them don’t come from homes or families that have the finances to be able to afford dance lessons, music lessons, tutoring, performance arts etc…So what happens to a lot of inner city youth is that they are prone to gangs, dropping out of school, gun violence, teen pregnancy, and in a lot of cases prison or death or all the above. We want to provide a safe environment for all inner city youth, to channel their positive energy into creative works of art.
